Kevin B. Wright –Principal Broker GRI /Co-Owner
Kevin was born and raised in Auburn, Kentucky, a small community in east Logan County. He is the son of the late Harold Ray Wright and Dean Wright of Auburn. He was taught the value of hard work at a very young age working alongside his father raising tobacco, cattle, and working in the family welding business.
Kevin enrolled at Western Kentucky University after graduating high school but upon the sudden death of his father, withdrew after one semester and entered the workforce. Kevin worked a swing shift job at Logan Aluminum in Logan County for almost 15 years. He always wanted a better life for his family. He was never satisfied just making the living provided. He continuously pursued more while working at Logan as well as owning and operating two different cattle farms and ultimately selling his operations out.
Kevin and his wife, Jennifer, moved to Muhlenberg County in 2002. After about a year of not having a farm or extra work to occupy his time, Kevin decided to pursue a part-time real estate career. After completing the initial real estate training from The Ward Elliott Institute of Real Estate, Kevin began his real estate career with Robert L. Blackford Real Estate & Auctioneers.
Kevin achieved his Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation from the Kentucky Real Estate Education Foundation. This certificate is given to Realtors who complete several lengthy courses. These training courses prepare realtors for the changing market conditions and provide extensive training in real estate and the laws surrounding it.
Kevin will instill the old-fashioned work ethic he was taught by his father in the agents with our company. We are going to abide by the philosophy that deals do not come with just sticking up a sign, a newspaper ad, and hoping someone will just swoop in and buy the property. We will be working agents utilizing several methods to achieve our clients and customers’ goals.
Kevin’s passion is hunting lands, farms, and recreational properties, which derives from his personal love of the outdoors as well as his agricultural upbringing. He realizes that Kentucky is very popular with sportsmen from all over our nation. Kevin plans to continue to utilize his contacts within the hunting industry to generate contacts for potential sales.
Kevin’s determination to be successful is fueled by
his love and commitment to his wife, Jennifer and daughter, Bailey. This
fierce determination along with the support of family, friends, and this
community will make this company a force to be reckoned with in the near
